Terms of Service

1. Service Description

TokenSurf ("the Service") is an API proxy that routes LLM (Large Language Model) requests to cost-optimized providers. The Service is provided by Cem Bas ("we", "us").

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

3. Account and API Keys

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your API keys.
• You must provide your own provider API keys (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc.) to use the Service.
• Do not share your TokenSurf API key or provider keys with unauthorized parties.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits, abuse detection, or other security measures.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization.
• Transmit content that violates the terms of the underlying LLM providers.

5. Credits and Billing

• Credits are non-refundable except as required by law or at our sole discretion.
• Pricing is subject to change with reasonable notice.
• For RapidAPI users, billing is handled by RapidAPI according to their terms.

6. Provider Keys and Data

• Provider API keys you store with us are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM.
• We do not store or log the content of your API requests or responses.
• Request metadata (model, token counts, costs) is logged for usage tracking.
• Quality scoring samples a small percentage of requests; sampled data is not retained long-term.

7. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service includes circuit breakers and fallback mechanisms for resilience, but outages may occur.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Service, including costs incurred from LLM provider usage.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or engage in abusive behavior. You may delete your account at any time via the dashboard.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
